20 December 2021
Venue: Mahatma MandirTime: 10:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched a national mission to increase India’s merchandise exports to US$400 billion by FY2022 and to US$1 trillion per annum by FY2028 which will help India establish a new identity for quality and reliable products. Export plays an important role in the overall economic growth - increased exports improve the capacity utilization of the firms through exposure to global manufacturing techniques and thus reduce the production costs, create employment opportunities as well as help attract investments and thus supports improving the foreign reserves.

Being the biggest contributor to India’s exports with 21% share in (FY2021), Gujarat will play a crucial role in making India a major export hub. The seminar will focus on Redefining India’s position in the Global Supply Chain, Role of MSMEs in building export-led economy, Coastal Economic Zones (as part of Sagarmala project) for maximizing exports as well as to build a roadmap for Gujarat in achieving India’s export target of US$1 trillion per annum by FY2028.
