Aerospace and Defence Policy 2016:
Government of India (GoI) has made the development and growth of the indigenous A&D sector a high priority. Supplementing the vision of Government of India for encouraging indigenization, the Aerospace and Defence Policy is aimed to strengthening its foothold in the Aerospace and Defence manufacturing sector and to create an ecosystem that will help in catalyzing innovation and indigenize manufacturing in Gujarat. The policy is framed to not only attract the world's largest A&D companies but also proactively promote the MSME sector to tap into huge opportunities in defence manufacturing and offsets.
Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for assistance to Industries 2022:
The Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for assistance to Industries 2022 is aimed to assist the State take lead in contributing to the larger vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat by envisaging Aatmanirbhar Gujarat. The objective of the scheme is to encourage budding entrepreneurs fulfill their entrepreneurial ambitions and encourage youth to innovate and become job creators, thereby creating large scale quality job opportunities. The Scheme provides assistance to MSMEs, Large industries as well as Mega Industries. Thrust sectors covered under this Scheme are Green Energy Ecosystem, Mobility, Capital Equipment, Metals and Minerals, Textile and Apparel, Sustainability, Agro Processing, Gems and Jewellery, Chemicals and Healthcare along with various sub sectors.
IT/ITeS Policy 2022:
The IT/ITeS Policy 2022 is focused on attracting investments and generating employment across the State along with propelling growth through incentives and facilitation. The Policy will enable an innovative ecosystem, establish a robust infrastructure, and further develop the state’s IT talent pool. The Policy will also reinforce various elements of the IT/ITeS ecosystem and introduce support for co-working spaces to establish Gujarat as a destination of choice.
Student Start up and Innovation Policy 2022:
The Student Start-up and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0) aims to promote innovations and Start-ups in the traditional and new age technology along with the sunrise sectors and would encourage India’s pledge of net zero emissions by 2070. Thrust areas include semi-conductors, robotics, electric vehicles, waste management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things and Blockchain. The Government of Gujarat has been at the forefront of adopting advance technologies for effective public service delivery. The Drone promotion and Usage Policy 2022, emphasizes on creating a vibrant ‘Drone Ecosystem’ including manufacturing and innovation by promoting the usage of drones for increasing work efficiency as well as delivery of services in the state. Several departments, PSUs and Board/Organisations of the State Government will formulate schemes and programmes for promoting usage of drones in their respective domains.
Semi-Conductor Policy 2022-27:
The Policy envisions to make Gujarat a pioneer state in semiconductor and display industry, by facilitating effective and timely execution of the eligible products for setting up a robust Semi-Conductor and Display Fab Ecosystem, thereby creating more employment giving boost to socio-economic development of the State.
Biotechnology Policy 2022-27:
The Policy envisions to promote and strengthen the ecosystem by developing strategic and emerging services in biotechnology. It also aims to encourage sustainable living by promoting adoption of biotechnologies, biotechnology products and services to make Gujarat an innovative, socially – responsible sustainable economy.

The Policy is envisaged to leverage sports as a vehicle to achieve multi-pronged benefits to society including improved health and well-being of the citizens, excellence of sportspersons from the State at the global stage, growth of sports manufacturing and sports tourism in Gujarat. The Policy also aims on building Gujarat as fit and healthy by creating a Vibrant Sports Culture. The sectors covered under this Policy are Governance and Administration, Sports Infrastructure, Sports Goods Manufacturing, Private Sector Participation, Incentives, Rewards and Support, Sporting Competitions and Events, Excellence Programme, Support Personnel Development, Para, and Special Sports, Upskilling and Reskilling of Athletes, Increased Participation, Ethics and Integrity, and New-age and Future-ready initiatives as well.

The Policy aims at focusing on attracting investments and employment across the State by driving growth through incentives, process optimization and by adopting the latest technologies in the electronics manufacturing. The objective is to create a USD 30 Billion of electronics manufacturing and export in the entire value chain, thereby creating opportunities for earning forex by import substitution and export promotion.
Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2022:
The Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2022 is aimed to create a robust Information and Communication Technology infrastructure with adequate bandwidth at affordable rates in order to promote development and proliferation of Information Technology, e-Governance, eCommerce, Convergence of information, Communication and Entertainment sectors so as to improve the state of economy, enhance the quality of life of the citizens and to ensure development of urban and rural areas with equity throughout the country.
Cinematic Tourism Policy 2022:
The Policy is aimed to promote and develop an ecosystem for film production industries in the state, and to stimulate the tourism economy through cinematic tourisms. The Policy focusses on to promote the art, culture, and heritage of Gujarat through motion pictures across the globe and attract investments and facilitate the development of film infrastructure in the state for film production.
Solar Power Policy 2021:
To align with the India’s ambitious solar PV capacity extension Program, this Policy, aims to accelerate the deployment of solar power by implementing it in various large- and small-scale projects and by establishment of ultra-mega solar parks. The Policy also focuses on reducing the dependence on fossil fuels. Gujarat intends to meet its sustainable development goals by advancing the development of solar energy in a manner that would position it as a mainstream source of energy supply as well as a primary contributor to the national target of 100 GW Solar Capacity by 2022.
Electric Vehicle Policy 2021:
The Policy envisions transitioning the state’s transportation sector towards electric mobility and make Gujarat a manufacturing hub for electric vehicles and ancillary equipment. The Policy would also focus to encourage start-ups and investment in the field of electric mobility, and associated support sectors.
Gujarat Integrated Logistics and Logistics Parks Policy 2021:
The Policy is aimed to facilitate and develop and integrated logistics ecosystem in Gujarat, to enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency and sustainability through innovation, skilled manpower, quality, and disruptive technologies, thereby strengthening Gujarat’s position as preferred destination for trade and commerce.

The Policy is aimed to make Gujarat a Global Business Destination for next-generation sustainable manufacturing & service industry driven by state-of-the art infrastructure, employment generation, inclusive & balanced regional development and thereby contribute significantly to “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”, with a focus on Ease of Doing Business, emerging technologies, R&D as well as supporting infrastructure.
Heritage Tourism Policy 2020:
The Policy aims to provide a unique and profound sense of the rich cultural and ancient heritage to the tourists by incentivizing conversion of Heritage Properties into Heritage Hotels, Heritage Museums, Heritage Restaurants and Heritage Banquet Halls.
Textile Policy 2019-2023:
The Policy is aimed to further strengthen Gujarat’s position as a leader in textile sector by providing assistance to specific sector in the Textile Value Chain which includes Weaving, including preparatory (excluding Woven Sacks), Knitting, Dyeing and/or Printing (Processing), Machine Carpeting, Technical Textile (excluding woven sacks in any form of packtech), Made-ups, and all other activities of Textile value chain - Crimping, Twisting, Texturizing, Thread, Sizing, Winding, Machine Embroidery.
Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy- 2018:
Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy is aimed to scale up installation of Wind and Solar Hybrid Power projects to achieve the state’s vision of reduced dependence on fossil-based energy as well as significantly increase the State’s and Nation’s energy security.

The Policy is aimed to make Gujarat a Global Business Destination for next-generation sustainable manufacturing & service industry driven by state-of-the art infrastructure, employment generation, inclusive & balanced regional development and thereby contribute significantly to “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”, with a focus on Ease of Doing Business, emerging technologies, R&D as well as supporting infrastructure.
Heritage Tourism Policy 2020:
The Policy aims to provide a unique and profound sense of the rich cultural and ancient heritage to the tourists by incentivizing conversion of Heritage Properties into Heritage Hotels, Heritage Museums, Heritage Restaurants and Heritage Banquet Halls.
Textile Policy 2019-2023:
The Policy is aimed to further strengthen Gujarat’s position as a leader in textile sector by providing assistance to specific sector in the Textile Value Chain which includes Weaving, including preparatory (excluding Woven Sacks), Knitting, Dyeing and/or Printing (Processing), Machine Carpeting, Technical Textile (excluding woven sacks in any form of packtech), Made-ups, and all other activities of Textile value chain - Crimping, Twisting, Texturizing, Thread, Sizing, Winding, Machine Embroidery.
Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy- 2018:
Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy is aimed to scale up installation of Wind and Solar Hybrid Power projects to achieve the state’s vision of reduced dependence on fossil-based energy as well as significantly increase the State’s and Nation’s energy security.
Aerospace and Defence Policy 2016:
Government of India (GoI) has made the development and growth of the indigenous A&D sector a high priority. Supplementing the vision of Government of India for encouraging indigenization, the Aerospace and Defence Policy is aimed to strengthening its foothold in the Aerospace and Defence manufacturing sector and to create an ecosystem that will help in catalyzing innovation and indigenize manufacturing in Gujarat. The policy is framed to not only attract the world's largest A&D companies but also proactively promote the MSME sector to tap into huge opportunities in defence manufacturing and offsets.
